* Issue54: Shouldn't the 4th Be Your Marketing Standard?
Your Electronic Goldmine-Igniting Worldwide Sales

Dear Reader,

The 4th of July is a powerful holiday that intertwines the branding of products without even trying! The 4th is a creative marketing motion without a particular driving force. It moves on its own volition! Sparked by products that have become embedded in the back of our minds, and within the confines of a well known marketing process we call our expectations!

Who advertises it?

What Sells on the 4th of July and who advertises it? Doesn't everyone head for the stores and obediently purchase some of the following items: Alcohol Which consists mainly of Beer and Wine. Potato Chips and Dips. Steak, Beef Ribs, Hot Dogs & Hamburgers. Pork Ribs and Pork Chops. Cheese and Crackers. Soda or Pop, Kool Aide & Lemon Aide Watermelon & Lemon Meringue Pie. Fire Crackers, Sparklers, Caps. Small USA Flags. Coolers and Suntan Lotion. The Fourth of July provides a never ending need for products associated with it.

Association, Association, Association!

What can we learn from this? Association, Association, Association! Keeping your products in front of the consumer creates and fuels the need for your product. Consistantly lighting the fuse of your product and it explodes in the public's awareness-they won't forget. Holidays are reminders of how Associations drive embedded purchasing power.

Betsy Ross will never be forgotten. She created "old Glory" and is forever associated with the American Flag. Association builds a history of thought and in the minds of your customers. Keep your sky rockets blazing and by proxy no matter how many other products come and go, yours will stand the test of time. You'll create your own 4th of July. Enjoy and Be Safe!

Sincerely,

Caswell Forrest
